Sword of the Spirit
I was driving in my way to work today when I asked Him, “ Lord please tell me about the sword of the spirit.” He said “Luke 9…”
“When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”
Luke 9:1-2 NIV
As soon as I read this,
He said to me, “I have given you and all who believe in me the authority to step on serpents and scorpions. This I have freely given. Proclaim my word. The word is the Kingdom of God, and heal the sick. This is to use your sword. This is linked to the shoes of readiness.
What you must understand my child is that the whole armour of the Kingdom of God is not to be worn piece by piece but all at the same time, it is all linked to each other just as my bride is linked to each, just as all who believe in me are linked to get her as one body, if that body breaks off and dies it will be thrown into the burning fire. “
I then continued to read:
“He told them: “Take nothing for the journey—no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt. Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.””
Luke 9:3-5 NIV
Do not be fooled, you don’t need anything to do my work, the world works with earthly fleshy things, I work with things from Heaven.”
Learn my things daily this is to put on the full armour of the Kingdom of God daily, I am coming. “
I then finished what He said I should read:
“So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.”
Luke 9:6 NIV
